lyrics

just then I realize this is completely apolitical he isn’t reading me he’s only gnashing at the scent he drinks the water from the table I’m left to wonder where it goes apples into pies until forks and knives arrive to displace them he says he doesn’t have a name I’m alright I’m ok I feel like I can’t breathe I don’t fight I don’t flee this stupid pain I don’t want it to go It keeps the pleasure in check disarms my innocence and I know when you find the thing you hate the most you have to keep it inside you for the rest of your life cause now you know what it looks like now you know how it feels I’ll show you mine but then and there I saw the bird holy holy holy though the blind had never slipped nothing neglected simply waiting out the day he says he feels like the ground that a circus tent was on after its been folded up and hauled off for a couple weeks and I don’t know what to make of that and he just talks and talks and talks about the way the mountaintops are slowly turning into beaches every day one of my ears nine of my teeth rest on the table in between us begging me to speak but I won’t tell him what he thinks he wants to know even though he says he’ll feed me if I do I do not think so says that I am like a mirror to the sky and even though there’s less and less of me I should feel more alive I’m parylized then all of a sudden the sound of loneliness and fear comes howling out of you and it’s true what they say you don’t know that it’s you at first and I don’t know who to turn into to make it stop oh my god I’m going to die tied to a folding chair because he’s not in here he’s still out there and his love is want and his hate is want and his fear is want and his doubt is want and his god is want and his hope is want it all is want
